QUALIFICATIONS

---JD, LLB
---3-5 years of significant natural resources and transactional experience
---Applicants must have strong drafting and negotiation skills
---Top academic credentials is desirable
---Applicant must be licensed to practice in Illinois.

RESPONSIBILITIES

---Representing clients in litigation, regulatory matters, permit proceedings, due diligence investigations, audits, toxic tort litigation, insurance recovery proceedings and a variety of corporate transactions.
---Supporting corporate, real estate and tax attorneys on a wide range of commercial transactions including conducting due diligence on environmental, energy, and safety and health issues.
---Assisting corporate clients with ongoing compliance, audit and operational programs designed to identify and address environmental, safety and health, energy efficiency, climate change and sustainability issues.
---Advising clients on brownfields development opportunities, including advice regarding remediation options, successful transfer strategies, shifting liability obligations, reducing financial reserves and obtaining no further remediation approvals.
