Expanding global US-based energy company with 15,000 employees working in more than 25 countries and marine provinces around the world, has an immediate opening for a corporate counsel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

---Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts on behalf of company
---Providing counseling on corporate related issues

---Managing outside counsels worldwide
---Special responsibilities and projects as required

---Daily contact and reporting to US management.

PROFILE:

 

---JD, LLB, LLM or French equivalent

---Fluency in English and French

---Combination of 2-4 years of contracts and power of attorney documents experience
---Experience with contract negotiations and drafting

---In-house experience is highly desirable but not required
---Strong analytical skills, judgment, including ability to determine appropriate allocation of resources among competing priorities
---Ability to partner with outside counsel and business clients to drive projects to successful conclusion
---Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
---Creative problem-solving skills
---Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
