Global provider of fund management services for institutional, retail and private clients with over € 175.70 billion under management and operations in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, has now an opening for a corporate counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
---Drafting and reviewing legal documentation (Articles of Incorporation, Prospectuses…)
---Advising junior lawyers on all legal matters (Corporate Governance, drafting and reviewing of distribution agreements and registration process in various jurisdictions)
---Co-ordination of the fund registration process (setting up of new funds, fund mergers and liquidations, and UCITS III)
---Providing assistance to the Product Development team in London and all departments in the Luxembourg office.
---Assisting external service providers, law firms and audit firms.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

---Law degree
---Proven track record of 3-5 years of experience in the fund industry
---Fluency in English and French (both verbal and written), another European language would be an asset
---Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure with minimum supervision
---Excellent communication skills
---Open-minded and good attention to detail
---Ability to get an easy and quick understanding of complex issues
---Highly organized, able to prioritize and to deliver within strict deadlines
---Team player.
